I live just outside of coushatta. Only gunshots you hear is from hunting season. I was raised in Shreveport and love living somewhere that if you forget to lock your door, you don't get robbed. When you go to the store, people are friendly no matter what color you are. And former tiger and NFL player Bennie Logan is from here. Very nice guy.
