Phillips would be a nice addition to THIS roster. He had good size (not just height) as a freshman and would allow Williams to play a more natural PF. LSU probably wouldn't ask Phillips to do much more than rebound, dunk, and defend the rim. But that is all they would really need him to do with a very solid post scorer in Williams. Add him to the mix and LSU has a roster than can be competitive in the SEC. It would probably be a bit unrealistic to expect LSU to be one of the top 4 teams in the league (Arkansas, Kentucky, Auburn and Tennessee should be really good). But that roster looks like it could definitely be in the mix for the 5 - 7 spot in the league and a NCAA Tournament appearance. Anything more than that would be lagniappe and COMPLETELY unexpected from where the program was in the wake of Wade's firing.

Right about where we were this year but with significant potential - due to coaching & freshmen - to be better.
I haven't looked at the schedule to see who we only play once next year but a split with UK/TN/AR/Aub feels like it would be a huge achievement.
