i think mwani starts over ward
Don't see mwani coming back if not a starter
Ward could play a 2018-2019 javonte smart type role

The only negative there is McMahon might not want to have two true freshman (on an otherwise experienced team) in the starting 5.
If that is the case, scratch Reed and insert Wilkinson at the 3. Ward plays the 4 and Williams the 5. Wilkinson would be the most power conf. experienced guy of the group and it is entirely possible he has more to his offensive game than he was really allowed to show under Wade. Plus, we know balance is the key to success and LSU will need to defend. Wilkinson can do that.
May also want to consider Ward at the 3 and Fountain at a stretch 4.
No one truly know what style they will play. What McMahon's approach to SEC basketball will be. But this roster appears to at least give him enough options to compete.
IMO, at this time, Arkansas, Kentucky, Auburn and Tennessee are at the top of the league. Alabama and A&M MIGHT be good. It also may be their success in past years (Alabama in 2021; A&M down the stretch last season) was a bit of an anomaly. Then, of the schools that all changed coaches (LSU, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Miss. St, Missouri) LSU and Florida have done the best jobs revamping their rosters. I think the roster puts LSU at least in the conversation for teams 5-7 in the SEC. 6 weeks ago no one would have thought that could have been possible.

Anybody have a guess for the starting 5? Mine would be:
1 - Juice Hill
2 - Adam Miller
3 - Tyrell Ward
4 - KJ Williams
5 - Jalen Reed
1 - Juice Hill
2 - Adam Miller
3 - Mwani Wilkinson
4 - Coleman
5 - KJ Williams
I would start the season with Wilkinson and Coleman at the 3 and 4. Gives you more experience while the freshman develop, and you can bring a ton of firepower off the bench.
It has been incredibly fun watching this team get put together. Can't wait to watch them play.
