I'm looking to go to Paris this November and would really like to go to a PSG game, but the schedule is not out for Ligue 1 yet? Looks like they come out in July sometime? Surprising to me they start games in August and the schedule doesn't come out until July?

So World Cup Starts Nov 21 so all European games are suspended through the end of the cup right? So I may be pushing my luck to make a home game, I'm going to strongly consider going to a Rheims FC game also it looks like the 2nd closest club to Paris.

Kinda crazy Paris only has 1 Ligue team when London has what 5 Premier League teams?

Yeah schedules come out later over there, contact the club as im not sure how easy/difficult they are to get these days. When I went it was before the takeover but you could get them on the day.

Well #1 London is probably the football capital of the world and has about a dozen professional clubs in total.

#2 France doesn’t have near the sports culture we have here, most people there would be more interested in talking about art, philosophy, architecture, etc.

And on top of that even among the people who are sports fans, Paris is a pretty big Rugby city so you have that to deal with that as well. Most PSG supporters are either the really hardcore ultras or very casual people who are there to see an be seen, like the Kardashians will go to PSG for example.

Not that PSG don’t have regular fans but it’s just not a big part of the culture overall enough to justify the city having more than one big team.

Nice train ride to Reims , go early do a couple champagne houses in the morning . Lunch and beer by the cathedral then walk over to the stadium for the match , hop on late train back to Gare Nord

November will also have rugby internationals , can catch a match at the Stade de France . Was in Paris for two days in November 18, saw France v South Africa. Was a great time .

Paris actually has two big rugby clubs with nice stadiums as other sport options. Went to a Racing 92 match at their old stadium in 2016 .

I’m open to anything. Will be there for about 2 weeks for Thanksgiving so I’d just like to catch a couple games. Rugby will definitely be considered also.
