I just turned fifty. I can distinctly remember several occasions as a kid where the temps were over 100. Seems to happen far less now. If anything we may be a little cooler overall.

That’s the pattern I noticed. Upper 90s and even 100 wasn’t unheard of when I was growing up.

The peak temps may have dropped but the humidity certainly hasn’t. And I am definitely far less tolerant of extreme temps now than when I was a teenager.
