Even before he died it seemed like they were moving away from their best shite and going 100% soft.
Then they get pissed at Seraphine for being unable to keep them on tempo or whatever (can't remember the exactly reason they fired him) when in reality he probably didn't want to keep playing that slow as shite either. The death of Kath, leading in to the collaboration with David Foster, and then culminating with the firing of Seraphine were the end of Chicago as far as I'm concerned. That was a shitty 10 year period.
On a somewhat related note, I've got tickets to see Leonid & Friends in Atlanta at the end of the month. I've been waiting a while to see them live...would have seen them a couple of years ago if not for COVID cancellations.
