I think the point was that the left will be confused once they see their enemy flying the flag of communism and gov't control.

Up is down. Left is right.
The left is rooting for communism.
The right doesn't care enough about this conflict to send hundreds of billions at a time of recession. The right doesn't care to send that money when fricking Europe isn't even sending that funding. The right doesn't care to send that money when Europe continues to purchase oil and gas from Russia.
In other words, the right has a very logical position.
