This is the argument the left likes to pose Bc they know the pro-life crowd views the plan B pill the same as traditional abortion. They BOTH terminate a pregnancy it’s just the plan b pill is not nearly as gruesome in nature as physically ripping apart a baby with a face and a heartbeat in the womb.

That being said, this potential decision DOES NOT eliminate the plan b pill and the OP is right in the sense of if the person who was raped does not want to have the raper’s baby and does not have a moral objection to the plan b pill then why not take it immediately after. I guess this is assuming this person wasn’t also held captive for several weeks after being raped.

Not quite. Women aren’t actually pregnant until implantation. Plan B delays egg release &/ implantation. The same exact thing hormonal contraceptive pills do.

I’m pro-life, pro-responsibility. Life begins at implantation.

I don’t think that way….I’m ok with the morning after pill…it’s just another form of birth control. No one knows if they are pregnant or not when they use it.

I just don’t see it the same as a mid-term abortion. I realize my view might be inconsistent.
