Maybe there aren't many 28 year old couples that you know that can afford it. My wife and I are 31, and are taking our 2.5 year old and 1 year old in January. Trip is already paid. We are staying at the Polynesian so hoping the monorail will make trips from Magic Kingdom to the room quick.
Best thing about going. Kids are free. And when your in-laws are going and your mother-in-law offers to stay at the hotel at any time and hang with the kids, I don't see a downside.

That is exactly what we are going to do. The in-laws will help pay for the trip and agreed to baby sit anytime.
