Can anyone recommend an Airbnb for Isla Mujeras? It will be for two people and we are looking to go early October.

I'd stay as close to or in Playa Norte as possible personally. Then you don't need a golf cart for the entire time and have to deal with parking.

Thanks for the reply, Buckeye. Have you been lately? I saw your comments in the sticky at the top of the thread. If yes, any new restaurants to check out?

Sadly I haven’t been since pre-Covid. We’re heading back to Jost Van Dyke for the first time in several years in July. I think we’ll do Isla next March. Enjoy. I love that little island.

Pick one you can afford and run with it. If you are in Isla, being inside your hotel/home is the LAST thing yo do.

Choose a spot by Playa Norte.

Hotels are typically pretty cheap/reasonable, and there are some really good options on Playa Norte. Why are you limiting yourself to only airbnb?

Like everyone else said just make sure you’re on or near Playa Norte.

I suppose we are not limiting to Airbnb. We are hoping to eliminate noisy neighbors, so a quiet one bedroom sounded nice.

Thanks for the replies, we will definitely focus on the north end.

Fair enough, that makes sense. Regardless you can consider both (as you mentioned) just to see the price difference.

Yep, it's quiet, no kids and every room faces the ocean.

Sorry, should clarify, we booked for mid November , so we are good to go! There were only a couple of rooms left and 7 people viewing property at the time.
