An appliance repair guy that just fixed our 12 yr old fridge and I had a discussion about new fridges, etc. He said stay away from LG & Samsung and don't buy one with all of the bells and whistles; go more middle of the road (less shite to break). Get side by side bc of how the freezer & ice maker are designed. With the exception of the 2 listed above, the rest are about the same.
