You've asked about "big government", implying that DeSantis' move here is "big government". In fact, it's just the opposite. Tax bills granting tax exemptions in some instances, but not in others is stereotypic "big government".
Disney rejoining the tax paying masses, and perhaps allowing for a compensatory across-the-board tax reduction, is a move away from "big government".
It’s big government bc it takes a previously private controlled “government” and gives it to a local government- there will be no added tax given bc Disney already paid property taxes - just now, the 200plus firefighter force will be under county control (which expands the county’s budgets) and the close to $1b bond - essentially- deSantis expanded the local government control

Oh really?
So you think for the past 60 years Disney has been voluntarily taking on massive added expenses that could otherwise be provided by the local government with only minimal benefit?
In what way does that make sense.
You bought the Disney owned medias propaganda hook line and sinker my friend

How was self-sold ticketing taxation assessed?
Meanwhile, legalities of Reed Creek muni exposure will be daunting. Who will assume the debt?
Odds are the county will catch those, but they also could revert to Disney.
In a situation like this, there is inevitably a large property value reassessment with changes in taxation. To say "there will be no added tax given bc Disney already paid property taxes" is incredibly naive.

You’re just making up shite now. What an embarrassing performance by someone where policy is your livelihood. You should probably be fired if your boss reads this.
