I wouldn't say its dead but it is definitely hibernating. It can be a intimidating place again if and when LSU becomes consistently good again. The crowds will be more consistent and vocal. But their is no mistake the new Box is a shadow of what the old Box was. Unless they do some upgrades and changes to the facility it will never reach the level of the old Box.

I say the angle of the seats not under the grandstand needs to be steeper or something. I've been to Houston and Seattle and sat in a similar area and felt closer to the field. I sit a couple rows up from where the catcher is on the opposing bullpen. If I ever had the chance I'd snap up the Stadium Club seats. My grandma's friend had that and would give us those tickets pretty often while growing uo and I loved it.
