re: Ski Location Recommendations

First time we skied was in Snowmass (2021) and second was in steamboat (2022) and are early 40’s. We liked them both and had great instructors at Snowmass. I would say Snowmass based on how they have their lessons set up. Get instruction for a few days and if you can, do private as the personal attention makes a big difference , we did their group lessons and they were great too - worked with each of us and mid-morning the instructors talked and shuffled people around to create similar skilled groupings. But, even with that I felt we had some wasted time in there.

As for all the other stuff outside of skiing, We had our kids with us and wanted to get into Aspen but didn’t make it - bus system is very easy to get around with.
