Our company call center in Ca reopened and we literally had 100 employees quit on the spot because they didn’t want to work at the call center and wanted to continue to work from home.

These are the types of companies that will have big problems in the new economy IMO…. With few exceptions, there is no reason a call center-type job cant be done remotely.. sure, there will always be some lazy asses- but the majority of people realize they can be more productive without an old school manager peering over their shoulder and without having to spend a couple of hours in traffic commuting every day.. The company you work for had better learn to adapt, and quickly or they’ll be left in the dust .
