Another one is employers. Employers requiring degrees when they could simply train the employees on the job. Employers need to do a better job of informing young people they do not have to continue on to college straight out of high school. Instead, they use college as a mechanism to weed out lower skilled applicants, thus perpetuating the lie that everyone should go to college.

The biggest issue is ease of access to loans and no regulation on professor salaries or tuition. We need auditors to actually look at each educational institution that raises tuition if they receive federal funding and see the need, how money was previously spent and where new money will be spent. Only once they pass an audit should they be allowed to request tuition increases if they are receiving government funding.
