I'm also at 996 without a clue. I have every word from 992 to 996 and I'm stuck.

I got this in ONE guess the other day. I can’t even imagine what the odds are of that. I used up all my luck on a stupid online game.

I got the 974 word 70 guesses ago, I feel like I'm on the wrong path.

I'm 143 guesses in and I'm up to word 989, but I have no clue where to go from here

I'm closing in on 200 guesses and haven't gotten any closer than 974 which I got on guess 93.

Agreed. One of the words I got in the upper 800s was way more helpful, and what ultimately got me to today's word.
ETA Looking back at my guesses, I got the "helpful" word on guess 129. Guess 130 was the 766th word, then my next 19 guesses were all cold
