Dark souls 2

Tried playing dark souls again for about the 10th time, never got past the depths. Finally clicked for me, played a heavy armor strength build and rolled through the game and dlc. Killed ornstein and smough second try. Just started ds2 and thought I’d try a sorcerer. Man has it been brutal. Finally downed invader Dennis (lol) and the pursuer last night but I must’ve died at least 100 times after getting to second bonfire in woods.

Dark souls 2 has so much wrong with it but god damn I love that game

Honestly, he might be the most annoying enemy in the game. Either him or one of the DLC bosses. I found DS2 to be much easier than 1 or 3. Most of the bosses are a joke.

Playing it for the first time now that I finally hit platinum on ER.
Started BB before ER came out and got stuck at the Father Gascoigne fight. Finally beat him tonight and now I feel like I’m off and running. Kinda nice to be back in a mostly linear, non open world environment

Invader Dennis is a beast. He’s like a sword and board sorcerer hybrid. Has like 4 spells. The pursuer was pretty tough too.
