4 man scrambles are just fundraisers. Enjoy them

I don’t mind a 2 or 3 man though.

agreed...I put on a bunch of company fund raisers and some of the scores that came in after the second flight were plain bs...
but I made sure the food was good and whatever you wanted to drink was there...
plenty of prizes to go around...
lot of fun and made money for the cause...

I agree, and they are always a blast. It just puts a damper on things knowing there’s always 2-3 groups out there shaving strokes for a payday so nobody stands a legit chance at getting lucky.

Hell, if it’s for a charity or benefit, my group would always give the prize money back.

The best scrambles I’ve seen pay out random orders like 1st, 7th, and 12th. It sort of minimizes the cheats even tho it still happens.

Anyone ever played a one man scramble ?

I use to play in it every couple of month at a small course in Brazoria.

It's a lot of fun. You can wear yourself out too.
