Young OT’ers pay very close attention to Irregardless’ 10 really important words in the post. Yep you can go out and get that sought after or “hot” college degree and maybe be paid well to do a job. But let me assure you that the company you work for is going to demand a pound of flesh out you in return for being paid well and to have that fancy job title. Sometimes there are jobs that may pay less but you will derive great satisfaction from the physical element of the role. Humans weren’t meant to be locked either in their homes or a office cubicle all day while staring at a computer monitor. That job life can be soul sucking. Yep I know…get out of your job old man so I can get it. All I can say is be careful for what you wish for young one.
