re: Favorite "no longer around" store growing up - vote for your favorite

If anyone is ever in DeQuincy Louisiana do yourself a favor and go to Nichols Dry Goods. It’s kind of like stepping back in time. They sell guns, clothes, home decor, other sporting goods, etc. They have a ton of LSU stuff I’ve never seen at any other store. That store has been around since I was a kid.

Googling shows there are more than one in Louisiana. Never realized it was a chain.
