Agreed, Alt. I think Carter is quite a good pull from the portal.... so long as he's not the golden goose. He is a quality player and will contribute on D and give us some nice scoring opportunities... but if we make him into the next Jordan Wright we might be screwed. Jordan is a solid player but should not have been given the keys- the same can be said for Carter. I'm tired of subpar three point shooters being given 8+ attempts per game in the McMahon era.
I think Carter would be best suited as a 2.. still need a sharpshooting playmaker and a big.

Totally agree regarding adding a shooter and a big. This team desperately needs both.
I need to look into Carter a bit. Like you said, he appears to be a supplemental piece and not a main contributor.
