My entire game overview hinges with motivation. UF was motivated, and Tebow specifically, due to the trash talking.

I don't understand why players do it. Ours, yours, everybody's. It's totally unnecessary, and it's plain stupid.

I think this was a major factor in this game. I'm sure some on here would agree.

I don't get why players set themselves up for failure. I mean, let your PLAY be the talking, not your tongue.

I'd love to see what your players told your man after they got back from Gville. Hope they gave him HELL. He deserved it.

Then why didn't it work last year after Tebow got all those calls?

Especially when you are not even going to play in said game.

I wonder if he KNEW this before he opened his trap. Anyone know the answer?

On the otherhand, if you aren't playing, might as well threaten physical harm.

Yeah, pre-game trash talk is dumb...but does anyone really think Florida would have not come out and played so well if those comments had not been made? Did those comments really erase our running game?

Unfortunately LSU needed more game time prior to the Fla game with the QB situation and the secondary. One open date could not be helped due to Gustav. The second open date, I'm sure LSU if they had any control would like to change that.

Florida got its wake up call against Ole Miss which if they run the table and miss out on national title game they will be kicking themselves over.

LSU got a wake up call and unfortunately when you play a red hot team as talented as Fla it can get ugly and did!

This LSU team is not much different then the 04 team coming off a national title, complacency sets in (happened to Fla last year). Transition to new QB's is not easy - from Randall and Russell to Lee and Hatch, it takes time to get that confidence to perform in all situations. Lee has done admirably well despite all that - he's still putting up some nice yardage totals against SEC defenses.

Uh, I seem to recall it did work. They could have easily won that game last year. We had to fight really hard to win.

I'm sure we would have been fired up, but I guess I'm saying we certainly didn't need that kind of motivation.

Did I say that right?

motivation, yes. but it wasn't from trash taking by lsu, it was motivation after getting embarassed at home by ole miss 2 weeks ago and knowing their season was over if they lost to su at home 2 weeks after.

exactly. It took 5 fourth-down conversions to pull it out.

Never overestimate a grown man who goes by the name "Bradley Dale."

You can't trust a guy named "Bradley Dale." Hell, you can't even afford to hire "Bradley Dale" as your night shift janitor, much less your defensive coordinator. "Bradley Dale" is a name reserved for pedophiles and dirt track race car drivers.

(Ok, I'm getting bitter again.)

your fricking team was going to be fired up no matter what. stop being so fricking retarded, you had the number 4 team in the country coming in that had beat you last year. You also shite on yourself and lost to ole piss last time at home. Uf was going to be ready no matter what was said in the media.
