Stick to your guns bro....all these losers in here talking about they still play video games as adults...they are losers, bunch of fatties who dont even have a letterman jacket. You dont win youth football championship rings by playing video games. Ask yourself a question....is playing video games gonna help your kid run a 4.4 40 and bench 300 pounds so he can throw a devastating downfield block on gamerboy johnny.....hell no it wont.

an hour in the weightroom is more valuable than a lifetime of gaming...

stick to your guns....dont want him to grow up to be a loser who has to finance a waterbed like many in this thread. :usa: :usa: :usa: :usa:

In all seriousness OP....can there be balance? its ok at the end of the night after everything is done if they would rather play a game for an hour than watch tv? WTF is the difference?

personally my kids dont play much video games and when they do its sports games, thats just what they enjoy....but they do have lots of friends who play a ton. Some of the kids are the most responsible ones in the world....some are kind of shite heads. The gaming seems to have a lot less affect on that than which ones come from broken homes and which dont or which have strong male influences and which ones have fathers that are more feminine.

in other words...if they like playing and its the end of the night...sure why not. But if the sun is out......they are out. Just have to be.....you know.....a parent.
