re: Traffic coming/going from Prairieville/Gonzales. Is it worth it?

The expansion of I-10 from the Geismar exit has really helped the interstate traffic for the most part. The surface street traffic in AP is the main headache. There's not many apartment complexes in Ascension though. The one's closer to Hwy 30 are mostly packed with construction workers. If you're a single man, I'd look closer to campus, but you're post seems to think that's too dangerous. The only real selling point to put up with AP traffic and housing costs are the school districts, and it doesn't sound like that's a factor for you.
