They beat a injury riddled Alabama team. That team at full strength goes in dry on Georgia just like in the SEC Championship game

Georgia lost the 2017 NCG after our best receiver got hurt.
No shites given.

Injuries happen. We won the national championship by adding a freshman left tackle midgame (moving our LT to be our 3rd string RG). Our 2nd string C. A walkon QB. Receiving talent most of the year as freshmen. And that offensive unit dominated the 4th quarter.

Without our all american star defender, converting our depth at ILB into edge rushers, and with a walk on safety, our defense kept bama in check all game. If not for a fluke turnover, bama wouldnt have scored a TD.

Like they did TAMU, LSU, Florida, Auburn, and Arkansas?

There’s no need to speculate on woulda’s and shoulda’s, the game was actually played and Alabama actually lost.

Just like Alabama and GA played in Atlanta and Alabama actually won. We had multiple players out and a buy into the playoff. But you know what, AL objectively kicked our arse on the field and they get to be the SEC Champion. No excuses.
