Is anyone giving up their purple/gold clothing? UF fans ...

So we're just coming in from Gainesville and all around town today Gator people (even in the fing airports) were asking why we were still wearing "that"?
For one thing, that is all we packed (of course) but I said "well did you quit wearing your colors after OLE MISS beat you?" Response: "we lost by one point" ... MY response ... "who the hell cares ... they weren't ranked and I will NEVER NOT wear my purple and gold".
Lil' f'ers.
Sorry .. I gotta vent .. they ragged our asses and my friend and I got a little drunk and obnoxious back .. not nice but I felt better ... my husband and her boyfriend were less than happy with us ... tough!

haha i used the loss to ole miss as my comeback all day saturday and it shut them up everytime.
idk if anybody saw but we were the guys walking around with the sign that said "wear orange and blue if you lost to old miss"

I'm sure this is the same for some of our fanbase too, but the majority that we interacted with were very bandwagon-like.
Two separate groups didn't even know they played Auburn last year.
So, no. The comment doesn't surprise me. Every away game we always have the car flags up on the way home too, no matter the outcome.

unfortunately it didn't shut up the ones around us. I mean even the fact that Ole Miss was UNRANKED didn't seem to register in these UF minds ... what the hell? LSU can go 4 - 7 or whatever and like I would give a shite and not wear my LSU garb? (well, ok .. I'd care but I wouldn't bail.)
These people were horrible.
Oh, and if I never set foot in The Swamp again, it'll be ok ... can't really take all that orange.

I even still had my Pawprint tatoo on my face ... imagine going through the Atlanta airport like that. I didn't give a rats arse ... I stopped to buy something for my dtr and the clerk says "I like your LSU gear". I said thanks, we had a good time even though we got spanked. He said "huh?" .. I was like ok .. not EVERYONE knows and then it clicked ... "oh, yeah, ya'll got beat bad!". Told him I wasn't giving up my LSU gear and he said HELL NO .. you don't bail!

JJ27 ... my husband and my friend's boyfriend were less than impressed. My friend and myself were more upset and bitched more and were the obnoxious ones. We got REALLY tired of hearing that it's just a game played by boys.

Yeah, I can be an a-hole at times, but its mainly towards FSU and Jawja fans.
Our rivalry is a bit different IMO. Idk about our fanbase, but I respect the program ya'll have, and am thankful we always will play ya'll as our permanent SECw team. 01-present, lots of talent on the field.
