Russia took heavy losses around Kiev/Kharkiv. Ukraine has taken massive losses in Mariupol/Donbass and has lost a lot of strategic military assets all over the place. Apparently they shelled some local cities around Russia's border towns.
The ball is in Putin's court, which is not where you want it. Zelensky and Co are refusing to agree to give up any territory including that which DPR/LPR controlled since 2014, which is hardline position which started this war.
I'm pretty sure Kiev regions are going to get hit with bigger ballistic strikes including Western part of Ukraine, which has been also happening.
