In this day and age of CFB, if you have to this long to play then you probably aren't the guy.

He got hit by injuries two years in a row, and sat behind Burrow who is the greatest college level QB of all-time. I think he’s a special case when it comes to taking so long to get his turn to start.

that's misleading.

Burrow was brought in ONLY BECAUSE Brennan wasn't good enough to start, even with only Narcisse and McMillian as his competition.

It's not like Burrow was already here when Brennan arrived and he got stuck down on the depth chart.

In the spring of 2018, Burrow wasn't here and it was Brennan's job to lose, and he couldn't get it done.

He hasn't taken live snaps in 2 years and even when he did he couldn't last more than 3 games.

So no, he was never "the guy" because he didn't finish the season and I think everyone would agree, that there wasn't a ton of competition in the QB room.

A young Nuss, TJ and MJ shouldn't have beaten out Myles.
Staying healthy is a part of the game and lets not act like Myles was exceptional in those starts.

Your best ability is your availability. Nobody knew Burrow would turn out to be one of the greatest QBs of all time. Brennan had his opportunity in the 2018 spring game to separate himself and he arguably got outplayed by McMillan.

Everyone can take a lesson from Kyle Trask from Florida!
