Jesse Palmer just lost the little credibility he may have had.

Our defense has looked bad at times, but they have a lot of talent. For all we know Alabama or Georgia will lay a goose egg on us. And I can't afford kool-aid, it's all about the purple drink.

Our corners can't play man coverage without safety help. Doesn't mean you have a bad defense.

No corner can run around with WR's for 5 seconds while no pass rush is provided.

Listen carefully...OUR DEFENSE SUCKS against pass-competant offensive schemes, but is good-to-very-good against run-first, pass-second oriented offenses.

We play the wrong players, and the coaches are horrible at creating/teaching pass coverage schemes.

I agree with in the sense that LSU has one of the best offensive lines in the country and you can add a couple of linebackers with it, but so far as the secondary, i don't think so. I think that they need alot of help in that area when it comes to cornerbacks and saftey's. I figure sooner or later a DefC will have to come in and build a defense, thus putting the two coaches currenly sharing position back to doing what they used to. I know that their still problems at Qb. In one had you have a greenhorn who is not completely ready to stir the ship and in the other you have a decent guy who can scramble but cant make the long yardage passes. In time I feel that all the problems will be corrected, remember this a transition year. Forever L-S-U

We are ranked 52nd in total defense, and have played one good offensive team. And I am not blaming the players. Not saying it's hopeless. I am saying Les needs to do something now.
