Schexnayder appeared on Brian Haldane’s Talk 107.3 FM radio show Monday morning and said that while specifics still need to be worked out, he suspected that the five-day special session would convene Wednesday and go back to the regular session on Friday.

“We won’t necessarily take two votes unless we have to,” Schexnayder said. “We should be able wrap it up in one or two days.”

It's going to be close. Senate needs to hold the line, and GOP needs to hold the line plus two. I think they will get Thompson... so just need one more.

Supposedly they are going to adjourn the regular session at Noon on Wednesday, convene the special override session, then adjourn that and immediately re-convene the general.

So does this mean on Wed, they will get two per diems, one for each session held on the day?
