He also did a long podcasts with her when she was hired at LSU. He is a big Baylor fan.

Interview was asking her if a woman will ever be a head coach of a mens basketball team at the D1 college level. She was very astute it may hapoen one day, but if ONLY such a person is hired because the are the best person for that job, and not because of any pressure to hire a female. She also said it’s not just a woman’s ability to coach the Xs and Os of the game, but one’s ability to command respect from young men players can not be understated. Coach Mickey was refreshingly honest. Great PR for LSU women's basketball
