I think you’re going to need more than that for a successful recusal.
Every federal judge in the country was appointed by someone. That doesn’t mean there is an entire class of defendant they automatically can’t hear cases about.

In the eventuality that this case ends up in front of the Eleventh Circuit, should these judges recuse themselves?
