It’s not just a new take, it’s pretty much not at all Halo.

They came out and said they didn’t even look at or talk about the games when they were making the show.

I’m actually ok with it since they aren’t taking the games into account. It’s something different altogether. And I won’t be constantly pissed about them getting things wrong.

I don’t like MC removing his helmet either, but the actor has to be able to show his face.

They can say that but there were multiple callbacks to the game, shields popping and regening with the exact same game sounds made me happy.

I liked it. Not a bad first episode. It did drag a little at the end but I'm excited to see where it goes.
