What I’m looking for is a boat for me and my elderly Dad to use to just ride around the bayou and pretend to fish.
How many times per year do you and your Dad intend to do this? I have not performed a break even analysis but I would think if your answer is anything less than once per month then it may be cheaper to rent a boat whenever you want to go out on the water.
The old saying if it fricks, floats, or flies you are better off renting it may apply here.

Be patient. Brunswick Corp issued 2 new bonds today.
They priced well but in the secondary market they shite the bed. Tells you that Wall Street is expecting the company to face some coming hard times.
They just about went bankrupt in 2008
A few brands:
Mercury marine
Sea Ray
Boston Whaler
Lund
Crestliner
Lowe and several more.
