We let them set the tone and pace of play. Around 7-8 min left in the game, we were down like 4-5 as we were most of the half, but at that point I thought we’d ramp up the pressure because we only had 4 team fouls. So sure enough we did a bit and got a few steals and got back in it down 1 I believe. So at that point, Coach decides to just do the semi press, but stopped trapping aggressively. I understand we don’t want to leave people open, but the level of pressure that we applied earlier in the season was nothing like what we did later in the season. I know some of that was to make them bleed clock etc., but with us having such a difficult time scoring throughout the second half of the year, I would have liked to see more traps that actually trapped especially more so tonight with no one in foul trouble but Tari. I think we could have sped them up more and pull out the win, but we were content to just play slow. And we clown Calipari for his junk defense, but a Box and One or a straight up denial to their shooter would have at least got them out of their flow. Instead we did nothing. No adjustments. Just sad to see game after game other teams be more disciplined and actually make a shot or two.

How bout staying on your man and not leaving 3 point shooters wide open. Something this team did ALL YEAR.

My biggest complaint is how many 3s we shot. We suck at 3s
