Also, I double whatever money they save at the end of each year. One of my children won't spend a dime, and is draining my wallet. I had to double $500 last year. The other blows his money as soon as it hits his hands. He doubled $5 last year.

It's getting expensive with my oldest. It started out doubling $50, and now she's up to doubling $500. Next year, it will be $1000
She'll have enough to buy a car at 16.
The other child will be riding his bike and flipping burgers....
