Yeah so noble to get every holiday and summer off along with a pension after 20 years of service.
So why is it difficult to hire teachers?

I’ve taught middle school in the inner city. That’s one of the most difficult jobs I’ve ever had.

I refuse to believe that teaching in an inner city public school is "incredibly easy". It has to be one of the hardest jobs out there.

I refuse to believe you can put minimal effort into teaching a class full of inner city 13-year-olds how to factor equations and expect they will learn anything. Aside from learning challenges, how do you balance that with potential behavioral issues?
If you're a teacher, you must have taught in an affluent school or system.
