It's gonna suck so bad to watch him dominate somewhere else for decades.

So why didn’t they hit ATM or Bama or Memphis or Louisville or Syracuse? All those programs did what we did and some much worse.

You clearly don’t know shite. Have you seen the stuff they have against us? I’m not even a pessimist but it’s 10/10 bad.

If they do that Woodward better lead the charge for the conferences to abandon the ncaa.

You’re forgetting who runs college basketball, the networks, they’re not going to have a power 5 teams get hit like that and have empty slots twice a week. It just doesn’t happen anymore, you’re living in the 90s.

Yeah I’m thinking 1 year ban plus some schollies. Which is why I wanted to just accept the ban this season but I get it as we probably aren’t a tourney team next year with a new coach and sanctions hanging over us

Yep thanks for the probation.

Worth it for reviving a dead program.

2018-19 was incredible. Beating Kentucky at Rupp. Beating the frick out of Auburn, Tennessee, sweeping Bama all on our way to an SEC title.

Sanctions are fricking worth that ride

Well. I really hope you are right and I look like a complete arse. But I truly think there is going to be a 3 year post season ban.

Bruh, Syracuse had 13 major violations and got a slap on the wrist. Bama was caught paying Colin Sexton and paid a fine, ATM was caught paying guys a few years ago and got some silly penalty that meant nothing and paid a fine. I don’t know shite, you didn’t even know teams we play all the time got caught doing the same thing two years ago. You don’t follow college basketball and that’s ok but it’s you who doesn’t know anything.

This. Self-impose the ban next year immediately following this years tourney.

That’s the only package that would make sense for firing WW: 1 year ban, a couple of schollys, no vacating, and football untouched.

ETA if they announce 3 years we re-hire him and secede from the ncaa

What purpose would that serve? Penn St got 4 years for harboring a pedophile. We gave money to kids for playing basketball. How are those remotely close?

I’m thinking 1, MAYBE 2 if they decide to make an example

At most we get a 1 year post season ban and maybe a scholarship penalty but if it’s on par with the norms we’ll pay a fine and get hit with a scholarship maybe two for a couple years. It’s just how they do it now, they go after the individual more than the program and what Wade did is easy for us to distance ourselves from.

Syracuse is a blue blood. Bama is bama. Plus this has been a huge deal for the past 4 years so I doubt it’s anything less than a couple years post season ban, especially how badly he got caught. I do follow college basketball lol. You haven’t even said what you think the sanctions will be dude

So why didn’t ATM get hit? And btw Syracuse isn’t a blue blood neither is Bama

Syracuse is a blue blood imo and a and m prob paid their way out of it. Just a guess. You still haven’t given me your prediction on sanctions

Will be banned from post season at least 3 years. Take at least another 4-6 years after that to maybe be a tournament team, that is if we hire the right coach.

He gave his prediction two posts up.

It made zero sense to fire Wade unless they agreed to only 1yr
