So the have parted ways with women’s and mens basketball coaches, baseball coach and football coach in a pretty close span of time.

That’s because NONE of these coaches recently let go were hired by Woodward. Most were from the Joe Aleva AD era. SW cleaned house in order to hire his own personally selected head coaches.
I’m sure Woodward and the University’s legal advisors thoroughly reviewed the NCAA’s NOA. When confronted with the evidence of multiple major violations, Woodward decided to fire WW to minimize future punishment. Wade recruited the exact same way other coaches and programs recruit. The difference is he was lazy in covering his trail of evidence and showed arrogance towards the NCAA.
Will be very interesting to see what self-imposed penalties LSU proposes to the NCAA. Likely every win vacated and possibly a reduction in future scholarships. We all know the NCAA will want to make an example of LSU by handing down harsh punishment.
