Vlad is a more calculating, more detail-oriented, more pragmatic leader than his EU counterparts and infinitely more so than PotatoBrain. Not a moral judgement. Not supportive of Putin. Just matter-of -fact, the way it is.

None of that means you're wrong. Putin is lined up opposite a behemoth of collected economies. From that standpoint, Russia should be a massive underdog here.

Assuming Vlad doesn't know Russia is at potential disadvantage, hasn't analyzed that fact, hasn't studied respondent contingencies, and isn't a step or two ahead of the West in planning would be a HUGE mistake!
