Not sure anyone will venture into a blind link about Donbass.

honestly that was a great video.

ETA: Video is youtube and it is called "Closing the Donbass cauldron & closing Nord Stream 1" starts to get very good around minute 5 when showing a Russian state media released map and discusses the strategy of the Russians.

yea. ive been looking at a lot of other maps after watching this and reading reports about Ukrainian food supplies and its making me start to think that there will be a negotiated ceasefire out of necessity soon or the Ukrainian army might not make it. I mean at this point other than some missile systems, it doesnt appear the west is going to get involved. thank god.

I wish they would have commented on the convoy. But, the main point is, they are saying that Russia is focused on crushing Ukraine's traditional army in the Donbass before anything else. It's just so interesting to hear two guys in Europe explain that the Russia hatred here is completely irrational.

The point is to capture/destroy the Ukrainian military. Capturing ground doesn't do much of anything for you other than lengthen your supply lines.

If the map they showed is accurate at all Ukraine is fuct.

*I said days ago it appeared the Russians were going for a cauldron in the east as they never moved forward out of the Donbas, but rather kept the Ukrainians in place in front of them leaving them at risk of attacks to their rear.

I mean.... western media has been fascinated with "stalled columns" and "kiev not being taken" that its completely possible that russia is finding success in the east. I have no clue, but i would say we will find out shortly.

The stalled column could very easily be being intentionally held to move in once a ceasefire is agreed to.

Russia doesn't want to fight through the streets of Kiev, so why do so if there is no need to. Street fighting is very costly and inefficient.

The military discussion was very educational but also the discussion concerning the fanaticism of the ideologues driving this war. Mercouris also pointed out the "shooting in the foot" aspect of the economic decisions meant to punish Russia. He was predicting imminent recession at minimum.

That youtube video is well worth checking out.

Very good video. Russia is attacking the U's army and essentially has it encircled. They don't need to invade the major cities to win the war.

U's only hope is to kill and destroy enough armor to break the encirclement.

Yea. And while Russian losses have been significant, many of the videos and photographs show faceless Russian dead. There is definitely a propaganda war and the western media claims Russian troops are demoralized. It’s possible the truth on the ground is different
