the federal government constantly attacks and regulates one sector into oblivion

I've got a link that says that's not the case:

Vanguard Energy Index Fund

Do you have a link to support your position?

Tell that to democrats who say, out loud, that they want to kill fossil, while they stonewall nuclear. The right has certainly never espoused this. Another leftist red herring. Most big utilities are all-in on renewables, nuclear, and fossil.

I'm a moderate, I don't subscribe to ideologies. Therefore I'm not really interested in the ideological extremes of the two dominant parties in the US. I believe the path forward lies somewhere in the middle. It pretty much always has.

I support a broad base of energy alternatives from hydrocarbons, solar, nuclear to fusion and alternative energy sources not yet developed. Being monolithically dependent on one source leaves your energy production vulnerable to supplies of that single source.

Several have been linked in this thread. They are openly saying they want to kill fossil. Im not interested in playing games with you.

Ah…. The lie all ideologues try to sell. Mostly to themselves.
