To be clear, she didn't say WE had labs in Ukraine and she certainly didn't say we have bioweapons labs in Ukraine

I think it's fair to question what a country like Ukraine is doing with biological research labs that are of serious concern. I think it makes sense that Ukraine would have all sorts of research labs, as most semi-developed countries do. But ones we're seriously worried about would raise different questions I suppose.

Are biological research facilities supposed to be a bad thing?
My dad used to work at one at Ochsner back in the 70s. My friend's dad worked at one at Tulane as well.
Hell, my mom worked at one in New Iberia in the 80s.

The WH claimed it was having like hourly calls with Ukraine regarding the reactor situation
Point being, it's natural for countries like US to get involved with smaller countries (in crisis) to avoid a major catastrophe
But that would beg the question about what is going on in Ukraine that could do so on a bio front. Nuclear is a given. I suppose a Ukrainian institute dealing with serious communicable diseases is a possibility.
