im trying to get a night vision scope, or night vision binoculars so i can shoot some of these Coyote's that are bothering my land. I live in the middle of no where with a lot of cows. Trying to find something that isn't freakishly expensive and I don't trust the reviews on amazon much. I search by top reviews and it will show 1 scope for $599 and next for $98. All in the top reviews. I would rather hear some recommendations from real people on here. Anybody ? I have a bolt action 308, 284, and my AR 556... the Coyotes seem to sit at least 100 yards out so that puts the AR out. Suggestions ?

First, this

Isn’t a great line of thinking. We take big boars with 556 a lot further than 100 yards.

Second, thermal will be way better than NV especially at over 100 yards. Figure out what you can stomach spending on a scope and double it. Hate to say it but the $1000 NV scopes won’t do the trick at over 100 yards for yotes.
