We just got back and had a blast. Thought the CM we ran into were great and very accommodating. Had a couple bend over backwards for us to move Genie+ reservations around for us because our youngest was asleep.

Spent 4 park days there. Paid well under $5k for everything. Rooms, tickets, travel, food and souvenirs.

Set your expectations beforehand and do your planning. I know to some people that isn’t the idea of a vacation but gone are the days where you can just roll up to Disney and have a magical time.

Only complaints would be the scooter people are multiplying. 90% are fully able to walk but because their family can cut every line with them it makes it a huge benefit. Most of them let the kids sit on their lap and drive it.

Also, the international vacationers are some of the most unaware people on the planet. Imagine walking through a crowded area and the person in front of you just decides to stop on a dime to type a text. Completely frustrating.

Don’t get me wrong. There are still exceptional cast members. However the new batch is definitely different.

Scooter folk are indeed multiplying.

Lol the international folks have no self awareness at all. You are spot on

We just spent 4 days too. It was very packed, but at least the temperatures were decent to pleasant.

Genie+ works if you have a wizard running it for you. You have to be super attentive when each window opens or things will book up quickly. Luckily the wife had a very specific plan and was on top of it. We spent much of Friday in Epcot and then swapped over to Magic Kingdom for 5pm. She had us on overlapping time slots of 7 Dwarves, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder railroad. That was truly magical to ride each with no waiting back to back to back.

Ratatouille was great. We gladly paid the extra money to ride it in the lightning lane. It was very worth not having to stand there and wait IMO.

On days 3 and 4, I started a stopwatch each time we entered a standby line to compare actual time with the posted wait times. They overestimated all of them (probably intentionally).

Of note, Test Track and Soarin’ were both listing as 60 mins when we went Friday. We rode and completed Test Track in 23 minutes and Soarin in 33 minutes. Most other rides were closer to 2/3’s listed wait times.
