I think you are missing the point. Walt Disney initially envisioned Epcot at a "City of Tomorrow", and when that turned out to not be practical, Disney corp. at least kept Epcot as a unique fusion of education, culture, and entertainment, and that was what drew so many visitors, including myself. Each of the attractions I mentioned had a uniquely educational and cultural aspect whilst also being entertaining.
Today, Disney management has thrown the cultural aspects out the window and has instead tried to commercialize everything in the worst way possible. That is my problem. If they had, say, updated each attraction while keeping the core essence which made each one great, that would be a different issue and I would be open to updates. But to sell out in the manner which they have done is something entirely different.
Culture was the "magic" of Epcot. And now it has vanished...it is now just like any other overpriced theme park packed with tourists and forgettable attractions.

Which they still have, so I’m not sure what your point is.

They add a Nemo ride through and put a Frozen coat of paint on a ride and it broke you.
