Scott Drew at Baylor had 56 total wins in his first 5 seasons. Can you imagine if they’d had given up on him that soon? Look at where they are now but it took 8-9 seasons to even get them to a level where they were a factor in the Big-12. It took another 8 years before they were a national power. When you don’t inherit a national power or fringe power you have to build it and that takes time. We’re way ahead of that pace from a similar starting point. People who think you can just go from 10-21 to final 4s every year overnight don’t know what they’re talking about.
