I watched the state championship game against Jesuit, and #6 for Jesuit was the most dynamic WR on the field and it wasn't really close either. Granted their QB was much better than Catholics but I was expecting Sampson to be what Jesuit's #6 was... I know I'll get killed for this take, but very shocked he is a 5*.

Yall are hilarious with this, and by yall I mean everybody that says stuff like this about any high profile recruit in the country. About 9/10 times the guy you thought was so great does absolutely nothing and the guy you didn't think was great dominates college. It's always funny to be around people who are like, "I played against him, he didn't do shite when played us". Well is the motherfricker the Incredible Hulk? Is he supposed to be unstoppable at 17/18? Is he never supposed to have an off game?

Now if he's consistently bad like Haynes King was, that's one thing, but the one game you saw proves nothing.

On another note, what does an 86 mean on ESPN? That seems ridiculous. A 93 from 247 is also bad. I remember thinking it was insane for the composite ranking Derrius Guice as the #5 RB. It was like they were blind to his film. Always thought that that he was the #1 RB in that class. Well 2 years later, 1820 yards at 7.8 ypc and 19 total as the #2 to Fournette, they did a reranking and he was ranked as the #5 recruit in that class. It wasn't one of those recruits where he never showed this in high school. No he really ran like that on high school tape. Dude ran like the Tasmanian Devil
