Dude I was about to ship and got fraudulent enlistment. I have the numbers in my phone of the recruiters still I’d be more than happy to send them to you.

I trained for 2 years to get in prime shape to join. Me knee doesn’t hold me back at all. A broken ankle won’t keep you from going airborne. It heals on its own, I had a broken ankle too.

It’s a good thing you didn’t get in. You probably would have punched a drill instructor.

Maybe you should talk to someone who has been in a war. Might change your perspective. And I mean talk. Not on the internet.

Curious. Is there a reason you have the Afghanistan Campaign Medal in your sig? I'm not judging, it's just that I'd rather the accoutrements on my uniform remain there and only there.

Because I met my wife in the 6 months I was waiting and I let my puppy love keep me from going back. I’d join back in a heart beat. Doesn’t make me a pussy at all. Look at all the people who are in the military crying about it after they agreed to it.

I regret it. I’ve already stated that. Doesn’t change heart though

Spend a few nights in Mortaritaville like a shite-ton of us did and you'll be thrilled you didn't. Months without a nights sleep is a bitch.

That said, go join the National Guard if you still have the itch. You still have time to pull your own weight.

No one in the history of our military has ever left their wife or girlfriend to join. You are so right. It just doesn’t happen.

Where did I say it doesn’t happen? I said I regret it. But I’d feel like shite to just spring onto my wife that I’m signing up

Again with the excuses. You wouldn't have survived in the infantry world with that amount of excuse making. Especially in the Ranger Battalions, you would have probably gotten your arse kicked by team leaders. Regular Army Infantry is tough but in Ranger Batt those guys get treated 100 times worst.

Bro I wanted the ranger option why would I want that if I was worried about my knee? Can you read? They knew I didn’t want anything else. So they told me to lie so I go off knowing I’d probably blow my knee out in airborne and get caught anyways.

I was outrunning and lifting dudes that were in jrotc their whole high school career and I self trained. I was ready for that shite
